In 2008, the IAC Program announced changes to our contract structure, in response to changes in legislation requiring enhanced competition. Since that time, the IAC Program has awarded our first BCO and first multiple-award TAT contracts under the new construct Data and Analysis Center for Software (DACS) and Software, Networks, Information, Modeling and Simulation (SNIM) respectively.
In coordination with ASD(R&E) and Air Force Acquisition, the IAC Program Management Office has drafted some revisions to our acquisition strategy. These revisions incorporate lessons learned from DACS and SNIM awards (including input from government and industry), as well as changes necessary due to our evolving operations and acquisition environment (OSD Efficiency Initiatives, and other developments). Please see the detailed chart below. These changes are under consideration and should be considered DRAFT.
